These are my two photomontages
These two collages represent the shortage of potable water in countries with limited resources that belong to the third world. They intend to talk about how a natural resource, as important and necessary as water, is in many sectors regulated to the point that in some communities, water reaches the hands of the average citizen only once a week. On top of that, in an attempt to store water due to its scarcity, the collection of water in small containers gives rise to the source and spread of diseases that are transmitted or generated by these water deposits, as is the case of a disease that I can relate to, Dengue, a disease transmitted by mosquitoes that are created in this wastewater, thus generating one of the most serious health crises that Dominican Republic faces.
